Arts, Crafts, and Music
Throughout the week, and sometimes on a monthly or quarterly basis, we have a variety of classes and groups that meet to create together.
Afternoon or Evening Fiber Arts
Bring your knitting, crocheting, whatever sewing or needlecraft project you're working on, share techniques & patterns, or just chat. Also a good time to access the Hub Closet on the second floor (but be careful of the steep stairs!) -- a collection of donated yarn, fabrics, craft supplies and odds & ends. The group is drop-in, no charge (although a buck or two in the donation can is always welcome!).
For information on the afternoon session, call Nadia Hebert, 603-735-4084.
Tuesdays, 2-3:30 PM
For information on the evening session, email Judy Evans at evans6@tds.net.
Tuesdays, 6:30-8 PM
Hub Song/Jam Circle
All musical levels welcome at this casual weekly musical gathering. Bring whatever instrument you play and plan to sing along, play along or take a turn sharing a song. Coordinated by local singer-songwriter Gary Cassidy. For more information, contact Gary at paintergjc@gmail.com. Free to the community but a buck or two in the donation can is always welcome!

Sit and Quilt
Bring a quilting project you're working on to this monthly gathering to get it done in the company of others, including experienced Andover quilters Katherine Stearns and Brenda Lance. Participants are asked to bring their own sewing machines and accessories, as well as some water and snacks for the day (or Pizza Chef is right next door!). A $10 donation to The Hub is requested. To register and for information, contact KBStearns@icloud.com or 603-491-0826.
Usually the 3rd Saturday of the month (check the website calendar to confirm). 9 AM - 4 PM.
Paint and Sip
Offered several times a year, "Paint & Sip" is a chance to sip a glass of wine, grab a paintbrush and give one's creative side free rein, a sociable and light-hearted evening under the guidance of Andover artist Molly Leith. While producing his or her own piece of "fun art," participants experiment with form, color and shading while creating their own colorful painting based on a well-known work of art. Limited space, fee of $25 includes wine, soda, snacks and art supplies.
Other occasional arts-related stuff
We've offered poetry evenings, a discussion of the art of editing, a couple of watercolor classes, workshops on Ukrainian egg-dyeing and crafts for kids. Let us know what interests you or what you might like to teach.
